I gained 50 pounds with my one and only child! Everyone told me “don’t worry the weight will come right off”, well it didn’t!!! Please don’t ever say that to a pregnant woman. I would like to smack those people who told me that, but that is neither here nor there.
Let me go back and give you a little history. I was 29 when I became pregnant, weighing around 131 to 134 pounds on my 5 foot 2 inch frame. On the day my son was born I weighed 185 pounds! …
Do you have trouble sleeping at night? Your brain won’t shut off or you are too uncomfortable to sleep?
I have found this wonderful sleep headset! The earbuds are so small they fit inside your ear, so they don’t poke the pillow and become dislodged when you lay on your side. Coupled with a relaxing nature sounds app, I can finally get a good night’s sleep. Rain on a tarp is my favorite nature sound on the app. I think I have trained my brain, when it hears rain on a tarp it recognizes sleep time.
There are several different…
I am always looking for ways to make extra money. I already have a full time job and a family. I don’t have time or desire to work a part time job. So I keep my eyes open for side hustle ideas I can do at home or in my spare time.
I have had friends try to get me to sell Amway or Candles. I am not a sales person and I hate door to door selling or doing parties at peoples homes. I did try to sell a herbal weight loss supplement, but I don’t think I sold…
Better Home & Gardens has ranked Dyson Ball Animal 2 Upright Vacuum the best overall vacuum for pet hair in May 2020.
I used to buy Hoover and Eureka vacuum cleaners for under $200.00. They never lasted long. They always seemed to break or stop working shortly after I bought them.
It sure wasn’t from overuse, because I hate to vacuum. Since I have to vacuum from time to time, I broke down and bought a Dyson vacuum cleaner.
I think my first Dyson cost around $350.00 or $400.00. Wow that was a lot of money for a vacuum cleaner…
When you think of Cadillac, you think of luxury cars. Which is true to an extent, but quality seems to be lacking in their cars and SUVs.
Looks like another lawsuit was brought against Cadillac in September 2019 due to the CUE (Cadillac User Experience) screen cracking like spider web patterns, which prevent the screen from recognizing touch inputs.
Don’t get me wrong I love my 2013 Cadillac SRX. This is the second Cadillac I have owned, the first being a 2005 CTS, which I traded on a 2006 Corvette.
I bought my used 2013 SRX in November 2016. Since…
Ollie was probably two or three years old when we found him. Not sure what Ollie had experienced, but he was timid and cowered a lot when we took him in. He has come a long way in the seven years since joining our family. He has developed joint problems over the years and finding the right joint supplements for dogs can be tricky.
We moved into a two story house about four years ago. I noticed Ollie was having a hard time going up the stairs. …
I noticed that my waistline was nonexistent. It seems like most jeans don’t really have a fitted waistline or they are low riders, which has allowed my waist to get bigger. I purchased a neoprene adjustable waist trainer back in January. This is my experience and personal opinion of waist training.
The waist trainer fits tight, almost uncomfortably tight. I tried wearing it while I worked at my desk, but found it too annoying after only a couple of hours. The neoprene also makes you sweat to aid with weight loss, which makes it HOT and uncomfortable!
Also this waist…
I have always loved the Corvette. Even as a child I loved the Corvette, of course my Barbie doll had to have one! My dad said Corvette was probably my first word. Unfortunately some C6 Corvettes have battery drain issues and mine was one of them.
I finally got my dream car in July 2013. It was a 2006 base model with heads up display. What a fun little car, with plenty of horsepower and sexy to boot!
I don’t consider myself a convertible person. My hair is way too fuzzy for that, but I love a sunroof. This Corvette…
I know what you are thinking, everybody knows vitamin C helps treat the common cold. You probably even remember historically it was used for preventing and treating scurvy.
The benefits of vitamin C may include protection against immune system deficiencies, cardiovascular disease, prenatal health problems, eye disease and even skin wrinkling according to webmd.com.
Most experts recommend getting your vitamin C from fruits and vegetables, especially citrus fruits. I know sometimes that is hard to do or to get enough vitamin C.
Let me tell you my personal experience with vitamin C. I was diagnosed with TMJ (temporomandibular joint disorder)…
I took my SRX in for service to have the Cue replaced. I later found my liftgate wouldn’t open. I assumed they missed connecting something or programming something.
I took it back to the dealer expecting a simple fix. No, they called to tell me the sunroof drain tubes were clogged and had filled the inside back of my SRX with water. The motor and control module for the liftgate were under water!
The dealer quoted $1500.00 to fix it. We said no, we would try to fix it ourselves. We bought the control module and tried to reprogram it…
